Rajiv A. Ghatalia is President of Hennessey Capital Management LLC, an investment firm focused on the areas of technology and financial services.
Mr. Ghatalia received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, a B.S. in Accounting from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
He spent sixteen years in the Asia Pacific region, first at Goldman Sachs as a Partner and Co-head of Investment Banking Asia Pacific, and then as a Partner at Warburg Pincus focusing on the firm’s financial services and special situations investment activities in the region.
Prior to his time in Asia, Mr. Ghatalia worked with Goldman Sachs in New York and London. He also co-founded Hennessey Wellness, a venture philanthropy healthcare initiative in partnership with UCSF to help redefine critical care delivery, and served on the UCSF Chancellor’s Technology Council.
Mr. Ghatalia has served on several public and private corporate and not-for-profit boards such as Nikko Asset Management, Transpacific Industries (now Cleanaway), Clean Power Finance (now Spruce, as Chairman of the Board) and Junior Achievement.
