Asian Pacific American History Is America’s History.

Yet no national museum chronicles it.

Now is the time to create one on the National Mall.

In June 2022, President Biden signed into law H.R. 3525, authored by Rep. Grace Meng, which established the bipartisan Commission to Study the Potential Creation of a National Museum of Asian Pacific American History and Culture.

This is a first step to attain Congressional authorization required to establish a National Museum of Asian Pacific American History and Culture on the National Mall.

Friends of the National Asian Pacific American Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit—independent of the Commission and the Smithsonian—formed to garner requisite authorization and to create the Museum.

We invite you to be part of a sustained movement to garner nationwide awareness and public support required for the speedy authorization and the creation of the Museum.
